       Stephanie Luzzi, Arts

Stephanie Luzzi grew up in Dutchess County, New York around apple trees and rippling streams and lots of grassy hills to lie down on and watch the stars. She first learned to draw from her dad when she was very little, and continued to learn from some wonderful teachers, both in and out of school.
Ms Luzzi holds a BS in Studio Art from SUNY New Paltz and an MS in Art and Design Education from Pratt Institute. She began teaching in 2006. She’s taught art at all levels from pre-k to 12th grade since then.
When she’s not in school teaching, Ms Luzzi can be found hanging out with her two cats, Linden and Hamilton, riding her blue bicycle or her red roller skates, or cooking a delicious meal for family and friends.
More than anything, she enjoys watching her students surprise themselves with what they are able to do in art class. Ms Luzzi is so excited to learn and create with her UASCJ students!
