Meghan Ryan,

Meghan Ryan was born and raised alongside the Canadian border in Plattsburgh, NY. She studied French and Spanish Education at Plattsburgh State University and La Universidad de Cantabria in Santander, Spain. Meghan Ryan received a bachelor´s in Spanish, a minor in French and a Master´s in Secondary Education at SUNY Plattsburgh. She was a college athlete for the Women´s Tennis Team. She studied abroad at La Universidad de Cantabria in Santander, Spain. She has a passion for traveling and learning about different cultures, which is why she has travelled to over 20 different countries, with her most recent trips being to Sweden, Portugal, Spain, United Arab Emirates, and Canada. When not teaching, she enjoys volunteering, biking, hiking, exploring new foods throughout the city, and making crafts. As she heads into her third year at UASCJ, she looks forward to sharing her passion and experiences with language and culture with students, and hopes to motivate them to embrace their culture and those cultures that students may be unfamiliar with.
